EL CENTRO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ENDORSES JEANDRON FOR ASSEMBLY
After Comparing Candidates Records Jeandron is best Advocate for Imperial Valley’s Businesses
EL CENTRO — Today, Gary Jeandron announced the endorsement of the El Centro Chamber of Commerce. After interviewing both candidates, the Chamber concluded that Gary Jeandron would be the best advocate for the 80th Assembly District in Sacramento.
“The Chamber wants to ensure we have representation in Sacramento that will stop the unending parade of legislation…that kills jobs in California, further harms Imperial County businesses and continues the practice of budget-busting and increased taxation,” wrote, Cathy Kennerson, CEO of the El Centro Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau in the Chamber’s endorsement letter.
Chief Jeandron adds the Chamber to a growing list of endorsements, including public safety and community organizations, legislative leaders and hundreds of concerned residents of the District.
Gary Jeandron is vying for the seat to be vacated by termed-out Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia. The 80th Assembly District includes the cities of Indio, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, El Centro, Calexico, La Quinta, Coachella, Brawley, Desert Hot Springs, Blythe, Imperial, Calipatria, Holtville, and Westmorland.
Jeandron’s years of public service includes serving as Police Chief of Palm Springs as well as serving as a member of the School Board for the Palm Springs Unified School District. Jeandron is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and currently resides in Palm Springs with his wife, Vicki.
