Gary Jeandron, a candidate for the 80th Assembly District, opened a new campaign headquarters in Indio on Saturday. Aug. 2.

Jeandron, a Republican, is running against Democratic challenger Manuel Perez.
The two candidates are vying for the seat currently held by Republican Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia.

Garcia will step down in November because of term limits.

Jeandron’s office is at 81557 Dr. Carreon Blvd., Suite A1.
