JACKIE LEE AND JIM HOUSTON HOST EVENT FOR GARY JEANDRON
Friends and Supporters bring in $50,000

Palm Springs – With more than 100 attendees on hand, the Gary Jeandron for State Assembly campaign held a special event at the home of Jackie Lee and Jim Houston on the evening of Thursday, October 11th and raised more than $50,000.  The event featured community leaders and guests such as Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia, Senator Jim Battin, Riverside County District Attorney Rod Pacheco and Riverside County Sheriff Stanley Sniff.

"I owe a very big thank you to everyone who attended the event, their support means the world to me. I have been very humbled by the number of supporters that have shown up at each event," said Jeandron. "The contributions I’m receiving put us on target to reach our fundraising goal and brings us one step closer to victory."

Gary Jeandron is running to replace Bonnie Garcia in the Assembly. The District includes the cities of Indio, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, El Centro, Calexico, La Quinta, Coachella, Brawley, Desert Hot Springs, Blythe, Imperial, Calipatria, Holtville, and Westmorland. Assemblywoman Garcia is prohibited from running for re-election due to term limits.

Jeandron’s service as the Police Chief of Palm Springs is coupled with his role as a member of the School Board for the Palm Springs Unified School District. He currently resides in Palm Springs with his wife Vicki.
