RIVERSIDE SHERIFFS’ ASSOCIATION ENDORSES JEANDRON FOR ASSEMBLY

Cites experience and shared values in endorsement


Riverside - Today, Gary Jeandron announced the endorsement of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association in his campaign for State Assembly. The Riverside Sheriffs’ Association represents more than 3,200 Deputy Sheriffs, Correctional Deputies, District Attorney Investigators, Probation Officers and Deputy Coroners in the County of Riverside.

The Riverside Sheriffs’ Association praised Jeandron’s experience, citing his “unyielding commitment to public safety and law enforcement concerns, along with his devotion to community service.”  The group also cited shared values as one of the key reasons for the endorsement.

Today’s announcement is preceded by endorsements from the Indio Police Officers Association, the Palm Springs Police Officers Association, the National Latino Peace Officers Association, and illustrates Jeandron’s reputation as the choice of public safety advocates.

Gary Jeandron is vying for the seat vacated by termed-out Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia.  The 80th Assembly District includes the cities of Indio, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, El Centro, Calexico, La Quinta, Coachella, Brawley, Desert Hot Springs, Blythe, Imperial, Calipatria, Holtville, and Westmorland.

Jeandron’s years of public service include being Police Chief of Palm Springs as well as serving as a member of the School Board for the Palm Springs Unified School District.  Jeandron is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and currently resides in Palm Springs with his wife, Vicki.
