RIVERSIDE COUNTY FARM BUREAU ENDORSES JEANDRON
Riverside—Today, Chief Gary Jeandron announced the support of the Riverside County Farm Bureau in his campaign for State Assembly. The Riverside County Farm Bureau joins hundreds of community leaders and organizations that have already endorsed Gary Jeandron for Assembly including, the National Latino Peace Officers Association, the California Police Chiefs Association and the Riverside Sheriffs Association.
“Farming is such a big part of California’s economy and we need to do everything we can to move our economy forward. Our farmers need strong leadership to help achieve real solutions to some of the problems facing the farming community,” said Jeandron. “I am proud to have the support of the Riverside County Farm Bureau in my campaign and I can’t wait to get started on solutions that will help grow our economy.”
Gary Jeandron is vying for the seat vacated by termed-out Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia. The 80th Assembly District includes the cities of Indio, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, El Centro, Calexico, La Quinta, Coachella, Brawley, Desert Hot Springs, Blythe, Imperial, Calipatria, Holtville, and Westmorland.
Jeandron’s years of public service include being Police Chief of Palm Springs, as well as serving as a member of the School Board for the Palm Springs Unified School District. Jeandron is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and currently resides in Palm Springs with his wife, Vicki.
