LA QUINTA CITY COUNCIL UNANIMOUSLY SUPPORTS JEANDRON Mayor and Councilmembers endorse Jeandron for Assembly
La Quinta — Today, the Gary Jeandron campaign for State Assembly announced the endorsement of the Mayor and all four City Councilmembers in the City of La Quinta. Mayor Don Adolph, Mayor Pro Tem Lee Osborne, Councilwoman Terri Henderson, Councilman Stan Sniff and Councilman Tom Kirk have officially endorsed Jeandron in his campaign and added their support to an already impressive endorsement list.
“Chief Jeandron has committed his life to protecting our community and he has done a great job of it. The level of commitment that he has shown us for over 30 years is exactly what we need in our representative in Sacramento,” said Mayor Pro Tem Lee Osborne.
Gary Jeandron is vying for the seat to be vacated by termed-out Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia. The 80th Assembly District includes the cities of Indio, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, El Centro, Calexico, La Quinta, Coachella, Brawley, Desert Hot Springs, Blythe, Imperial, Calipatria, Holtville, and Westmorland.
Jeandron’s years of public service includes serving as Police Chief of Palm Springs as well as serving as a member of the School Board for the Palm Springs Unified School District. Jeandron is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and currently resides in Palm Springs with his wife, Vicki.
